A Mother's Day Celebration @ Bubba Gump!

Before I continue with my endless post on Taiwan, let’s take a step back on the celebration we had for someone special in our life.

A mother’s LOVE determine how,
We love ourselves and others.
A mother’s LOVE determine what,
Is the true meaning of family.
A mother’s LOVE determine when,
She is finally at peace that you’ve finally grow up to be the person she hope you’ll be.
A mother’s LOVE determine why,
The endless love and care can never be compared.
A mother’s LOVE will be there for eternity regardless of how, what, when or why.

Thanks Mummy for being the greatest, hippest, coolest mum on earth!

We decided to have a dinner treat at Bubba Gump Restaurant at The Curve; which was a wrong choice but everywhere was packed on that special weekend. Ok lesson learnt, next time we got to book early!

Bubba Gump featured food would definitely be the SHRIMPS!

A happy photo of Me, My mummy and the very naughty little sis... Well she is only 13, I guess I was worst when I was that age? LOL!

The selected venue was the Bubba Gump Restaurant. My first try was at Bali, 2nd try at Los Angeles and my third visit to the branch here at The Curve. I reckon the food was a little pricy and having a family dinner here would have cost us a bomb! A 8 course Chinese Dinner would have been a better choice :)

Due to Mother's Day, Bubba Gump was serving special set menus that night. Priced at RM 55++, you get a salad, garlic bread, main course and dessert.

Caesar Salad Crisp romaine tossed with their classic Caesar dressing with grated parmesan and croutons.

Bourbon Mahi Mahi. Charbroiled cajun mahi mahi with bourbon sauce and shrimp served over mashed potatoes. Daddy was rather disappointed with his choice as he said the fillet wasn't that fresh... I reckon the mashed potatoes were rather good... :P

Total damage that night was about RM 400 ++.... Overall the food was so so only. I guess you're paying a hefty price for the enviroment and setting...
